SHRESHTA NETS 2022 Results Declared, know how to check your results

NTA has declared the results of SHRESHTA NETS 2022, here are the detailed steps to check your results now.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a notice on May 20, 2022, stating the results of the National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas, i.e. SHRESHTA NETS 2022 have been declared.

The students, who have appeared can now check their results on the official website of SHRESHTA NETS, Candidates can simply visit the official website, log in with their login credentials, and then view their results. For the counselling round, the documents of the selected students will be verified as per the norms of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and then the subsequent steps of admission will be undertaken.

The notice clearly reads that the NTA is only limited to inviting online applications, the conduct of the entrance test and declaration of results, and providing the results/Merit list is done by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. And the NTA is not responsible for any correctness or genuineness of the uploaded information or documents during the application process.

How to check the results?

About SHRESHTA NETS 2022

The SHRESHTA NETS 2022 was conducted by NTA on May 7, 2022. The examination was conducted in pen and paper mode in 68 centers in 67 cities across India. The examination was conducted for admission to Class IX and Class XI for high-quality education for meritorious Scheduled Castes (SCs) students only, in CBSE-affiliated reputed residential schools. Every year, it is expected that about (3000) students would be selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under the scheme.

Objectives of the SHRESHTA scheme

The objective of the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) is as follows:

  1. To enhance the reach of the development initiative of the government.
  2. To fill the gap in service-deprived Scheduled Castes (SCs) dominant areas in the sector of education by collaborating with voluntary organizations.
  3. To provide an environment for socio-economic upliftment and overall development of the Scheduled Castes (SCs).
  4. To provide access to high-quality education to bright Scheduled Caste (SC) students so that they can explore future opportunities.
