SIRISH Scholarship 2023: The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare of Assam Government is introducing Welfare Scholarship Schemes for the Tea Tribes and Adivasi children and women of Assam. A variety of schemes are offered across a wide spectrum ranging from scholarships for school and college-going students, skills and entrepreneurship, start-up grants-in-aid for self-employment activities, grants-in-aid to women SHGs etc.
The online application forms are available for interested candidates to apply for and will remain accessible till the 25th of August 2023. Candidates can visit the official portal named “SIRISH” for the same.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community.
- Annual Income: The candidate’s annual family income should be less than 5 Lakhs to be considered eligible for these schemes.

- Birth certificate
- Identity Proof
- Caste Certificate
- Undertaking of family income
- Marksheet of the last examination passed
- First page of bank Passbook
- Certificate from Headmaster

- And then get yourself registered by providing the essential details
- Using the registered credentials, log in to fill out the application form
- Enter your academic and personal details with care
- Upload the necessary documents in the instructed format
- After completion of all these steps, download and print out the application form for future references
