The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The recruitment for SSC Delhi Police & CRPF will for a total of 1876 vacancies.
Besides, eligible candidates, departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with a minimum of three years’ service and who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ ST) of age may also apply for filling up of Open and Departmental vacancies of Sub- Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Male.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.
- The age limit must be between 20 to 25 years i.e. candidate must be born not earlier than 2nd August 1998 and not later than 1st January 2003 to be eligible to apply. There are permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories, excluding the departmental candidates of the Delhi Police.
- Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date; i.e., 15th August 2023.
- For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only: Such candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT).

- Visit the official website of SSC
- On the Homepage, click on the ‘New User? Register Now‘ provided in the ‘Login’ section
- After completion of the registration process, log in to the portal by using your Registration Number and password. If you are already registered on the portal, you can log in directly using previous credentials
- Now, click on the link given to apply in the ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2023’ section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab
- Fill in the required details and upload the required documents followed by the fee payment
- Lastly, download the application form of SSC Delhi Police & CRPF and keep it for future reference
