Vacancies
- The total number of vacancies in the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 is 241 for the Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted position.
- The posting of the job will be in The Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.
Pay Scale
- Pay Scale for the permanent job title for Junior Court Assistant (JCA) is according to the Level 6 in the Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹35,400/- per month.
- The approximate gross salary including HRA and allowances as per existing rates is ₹72,040/- per month.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria –
1. Age Limit:
- The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 26 years as of 08.03.2025.
- Age relaxation will be provided to –
- SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently Abled/Ex-Servicemen and dependents of Freedom Fighters as per the rules and regulation of Government of India.
- There is no upper age limit for departmental candidates working in the Registry of the Supreme Court.
Note: Candidates employed in other Government Departments will not receive age relaxation.
2. Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must be a graduate and hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
3. Typing & Computer Skills:
- Candidate must have basic practical knowledge of a computer.
- Candidate must have a minimum English typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) on a computer.
Reservation
- According to the rules and regulations of the Government of India, SC, ST, and Differently Abled candidates will receive reservation benefits.
- As per the orders of the Chief Justice of India, Dependents of Freedom Fighters will receive reservation benefits.
Note – Reservation policies may be altered as per the Chief Justice’s discretion.

Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates for Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 will be based on two step process i.e, Written & Skill-Based Tests and Interview Process, to be conducted across 128 test centers in 28 States/ UTs of India.

Interview Process
- Candidates who qualify in Written, Computer, and Typing Tests will be shortlisted for an interview, to be in the ratio of 1:3 (i.e., three candidates per vacancy).
- Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance in all the tests.
Note –
- Total score considered for selection of a candidate is 175 Marks.
- Candidates who successfully clear the Interview will be empaneled in order of merit.
- Placement in the selection panel does not guarantee appointment. Thus, recruitment will be subject to availability of vacancies and administrative requirements.
Post Selection Process
Medical Examination
As part of the post selection process, selected candidates must pass a medical fitness test conducted by an authorized government medical officer.
Document Verification
After clearing all the stages, candidates must get their documents verified. Important documents are –
- Original educational certificates (10th, 12th, Degree)
- Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID)
- Caste/ category certificate (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate (for Government Employees)
Probation Period
- Selected candidates must undergo a mandatory probation period.
- During the probation, performance and conduct will be assess.
- During the probation period, if the candidate performance is unsatisfactory, it may lead to termination.

To apply for Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025, the candidates must follow these steps –
- First of all, the candidates need to select the Online Application Form as given below
- Go to the section directed as ‘New Registration’
- Candidates will now have to provide their mobile number and email along with other personal details
- The candidates applying will have to set a strong password
- Based on the above details, the registration number will be generated and sent to the candidate via email or SMS
- After successful registration, candidates needs to log in using the credentials and fill out the online application form.
- Enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along with the photograph and signature
- Candidate must select the preferred exam centre
- After this, the candidate must complete the application form by paying the application fee
- At last, the candidate must preview the application form and click on the “submit” button
- After submission, an application number will be generated
- The candidate can take a printout copy of the payment receipt and application form for future references
