Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025: The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has announced the recruitment for a total of 241 vacancies for the post of Junior Court Assistant (JCA), classified as a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted position. Read the article to know more details and apply before 8th March 2025.

Vacancies

  1. The total number of vacancies in the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 is 241 for the Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted position.
  2. The posting of the job will be in The Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.

Pay Scale

  1. Pay Scale for the permanent job title for Junior Court Assistant (JCA) is according to the Level 6 in the Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹35,400/- per month.
  2. The approximate gross salary including HRA and allowances as per existing rates is ₹72,040/- per month.

The selection of the candidates for Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 will be based on two step process i.e, Written & Skill-Based Tests and Interview Process, to be conducted across 128 test centers in 28 States/ UTs of India.

Interview Process

  1. Candidates who qualify in Written, Computer, and Typing Tests will be shortlisted for an interview, to be in the ratio of 1:3 (i.e., three candidates per vacancy).
  2. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance in all the tests.

Note –

  1. Total score considered for selection of a candidate is 175 Marks.
  2. Candidates who successfully clear the Interview will be empaneled in order of merit.
  3. Placement in the selection panel does not guarantee appointment. Thus, recruitment will be subject to availability of vacancies and administrative requirements.

Post Selection Process

Medical Examination

As part of the post selection process, selected candidates must pass a medical fitness test conducted by an authorized government medical officer.

Document Verification

After clearing all the stages, candidates must get their documents verified. Important documents are –

  1. Original educational certificates (10th, 12th, Degree)
  2. Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID)
  3. Caste/ category certificate (if applicable)
  4. No Objection Certificate (for Government Employees)

Probation Period

  1. Selected candidates must undergo a mandatory probation period.
  2. During the probation, performance and conduct will be assess.
  3. During the probation period, if the candidate performance is unsatisfactory, it may lead to termination.
