The Union Bank of India has recently released a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the apprentice posts for one year. In the notification of Union Bank of India Recruitment 2024, authorities have informed that they are looking to recruit a total of 500 candidates and engage them as apprentices, under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and as per the Apprenticeship Policy of our Bank.

Stipends

The candidates selected as apprentices will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month for the contract period of one year.

Eligibility

Age limit

The applicants must be 20 to 28 years of age i.e. the candidate must be born between 2nd August 1996 and 1st August 2004(both dates inclusive). Also, there are certain age relaxations for reserved categories as shown below-

SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

The applicants for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2024 must be graduates from a University/ Institute or they should possess any equivalent qualifications recognized by the government of India.

Selection Process

The Selection process of Union Bank of India Recruitment 2024 consists of two stages, an Online Examination & test of the local language.

Online Written Test

The online written examination will be of objective type and the structure is as follows:

The total duration of the examination will be 60 minutes. All applicants must take the online examination on the given date and time using their camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Test of Local Language

The test of the local language will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

How to apply for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2024?

Note: Before following the steps mentioned below, all the applicants need to register themselves in both the Apprenticeship Portals of the Government of India viz National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) (only for candidates who have passed their graduation examination after 1st April 2020).

Visit the application portal of the NAPS portal and search for “Union Bank of India” under “Search by Establishment Name” on the link given below and for the NATS portal candidates can view the Apprenticeship Advertisement of “Union Bank of India”
Then get yourself registered on the portal ”by visiting the “Career Opportunities” page
Once the registration process is completed, log in to the portal
Now, fill out the application form with personal and educational details
Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format
Then proceed to the payment section and pay the applicable fees
Lastly, submit the form for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2024 and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
