Pay Scale
Candidates selected under the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025 for Assistant Manager positions will receive a pay of Rs. 48480 – 2000/ 7 – 62480 – 2340/ 2 – 67160 – 2680/ 7 – 85920. The basic salary will be Rs. 48,480, and based on the number of years of service, it will keep rising and can reach up to Rs. 85,920. In addition, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and other allowances will be payable as per prevailing rules and regulations in the Bank.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates’ age must be a minimum of 22 years and a maximum of 30 years as of 01-April-2025 for the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025.
- Age Relaxation (as per govt rules and regulations):
- SC/ ST: 5 Years
- Other Backwards Classes (Non-creamy layer): 3 Years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 Years

Educational Qualification
Assistant Manager (Credit)
- Candidates applying under Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025 must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized or approved by the Government of India or relevant regulatory bodies. Qualifications such as CA, CMA (ICWA), or CS are also accepted.
- OR, Candidates must have completed a full-time, 2-year MBA, MMS, PGDM, or PGDBM with a specialization in Finance, securing at least 60% marks in aggregate (minimum 55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories) for the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025.
- In the case of dual specializations, Finance must be the major area of study.
Assistant Manager (IT)
- Candidates must have a full-time B.E./ BTech/ MCA/ MSc (IT)/ MS/ MTech/ 5-year Integrated MTech degree in Computer Science Engineering/ IT/ Electronics/ Electronics & Computer Science/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Data Science/ Machine Learning & AI/ Cyber Security from a University/ Institution recognized by the Govt. of India/ Govt. Bodies for the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025.
- Preferred Certifications (any one of the following):
- Cloud Certified Administrator (AWS/ Azure/ GCP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CEH/ DISA/ CISA/ CISM/ CRISC/ CISSP
- Data analysis certifications like Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Power BI
- Data engineering certifications like Google Cloud
- Certified Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Engineer
- Data Sciences/ Data Analytics/ Machine Learning/ SAS/ Python/ R
- Certification in OCA/ OCP/ MSSQL Database technologies
- API management certifications like APIGEE, MuleSoft, or equivalent
Selection Process
The selection procedure for the candidates applying for the Assistant Manager post under the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025 is divided into 4 stages as follows-
- Online Examination
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Final Selection
(i) Online Examination
- The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
- The maximum mark is 225
- There will be a penalty of 1/4th mark (25% marks assigned to that question) for each incorrect answer.
- All online tests, except the English Language test, will be available in both English and Hindi, offering candidates the flexibility to choose their preferred language.

(ii) Group Discussion (GD)
- The Group Discussion will be marked out of 50.
- General/ EWS candidates must score at least 25 marks to qualify.
- SC/ ST/ OBC candidates must score at least 22.5 marks.
- Only candidates who meet the minimum GD marks will be called for the Personal Interview.
- Just participating in the Group Discussion does not guarantee a call for the Interview.
(iii) Personal Interview (PI)
- The Personal Interview will be of 50 marks.
- It will assess academic and job knowledge, communication skills, leadership, hobbies, behavior, and overall suitability for the role.
- To qualify, General/ EWS candidates must score at least 25 marks.
- SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD candidates must score at least 22.5 marks.
(iv) Final Selection
The Final Selection for the Assistant Manager post under the Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025 will be based on:
- If Online Exam and Personal Interviews are conducted
- If only a Personal Interview is conducted (No Online Exam)
- Group Discussion and Personal Interviews are conducted (No Online Exam)
