UPSC CAPF 2022: How to Apply, Vacancies, Eligibility, Exam pattern

The Union Public Service Commission has released the notification regarding the recruitment of Central Armed Police Forces, UPSC CAPF 2022.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a notification on its official website on April 20th regarding the examination for recruitment of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). Interested candidates can submit their online applications for UPSC CAPF 2022 till May 10. UPSC has scheduled the examination for recruitments of CAPFs on August 7th, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidate should be aged 20 and must not be aged more than 25 years as of August 1, 2022.
  2. The candidate shall have a Bachelor’s Degree. 
  3. The candidate shall be physically fit and match all the requirements stated in the standard given by UPSC. 
  4. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

This year, the UPSC CAPF 2022 examination will be conducted to recruit for a total vacancy of 253 posts.

Examination pattern

The examination consists of two papers, that is Paper 1 (General Ability and Intelligence) and Paper 2 (General Studies, Comprehension & essay). Paper 1 is an objective type examination carrying 250 marks and Paper 2 will consist of descriptive type questions carrying 200 marks.

 

Selection Process of UPSC CAPF 2022

The selection process of the examination is divided into three stages. The first stage is that of the written examination. The second stage is that of the physical & medical examination of qualified candidates. The third and final stage is the Personal Interview. 

UPSC CAPF 2022: How to apply?

Application Fee

For male candidates, the examination fee is ₹200. Whereas, female candidates and candidates from SC and ST categories are exempted from paying the fees.

CAPF AC 2022 Results

The result of the examination will be declared on the official website of UPSC along with the merit list. The merit list will be purely based on the candidates’ performance in the written examination and personal interview round.
