UIIC Recruitment 2023: The United India Insurance Company Ltd (UIIC) is inviting eligible young and dynamic candidates to recruit them for the post of Assistant in its offices all over India. The application process started on 16th December 2023 and the application portal of UIIC Recruitment 2023 will remain open till 6th January 2024.

UIIC Recruitment 2023: Vacancy Details

There are overall vacancies and statewide vacancies under UIIC Recruitment 2003. The statewide recruitment details have been provided in the official notification as given below in the important link section. The details of vacancies in Assam have been provided below:

Pay Scale & Emolument

• Pay Scale: Rs. 22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)-38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265
• Total Emoluments are approximately Rs. 37,000/- p.m. in the initial stage in a Metro city. Other allowances may vary depending on the place of posting. Apart from allowances, other benefits such as Lump Sum Domiciliary Medical Benefits, Membership of Group Mediclaim Policy for reimbursement of Hospitalization expenses, Leave Travel Subsidy and other Staff welfare schemes would be as per the rules of the Company.

Eligibility

Age Limit

The candidate applying for UIIC Recruitment 2023 must have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years (as of 30.09.2023). The candidates must be born not earlier than 01.10.1993 and not later than 30.09.2002 (both days inclusive) and are only eligible to apply. However, there are certain relaxations for various categories as given below:

1. OBC: 3 years
2. SC/ ST: 5 years
3. PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as of the closing date
5. Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their Husbands, who have not remarried: 05 years
6. Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89: 05 years
7. A resident of Assam State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 15-08-1985: 03 years
8. UIIC Departmental Candidates: 05 years
9. Any other category: No criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the vacancies in UIIC Recruitment 2023 must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University and must know reading, writing and speaking of regional language of the State of recruitment is essential.

Interested candidates can apply online for 300 posts in UIIC Recruitment 2023 by following the steps given below:

• First of all, click the ‘Online Application Portal’ as directed below
• Go to the section directed as ‘Registration’
• Candidates will now have to provide their mobile number and email
• The candidates applying will have to set a strong password
• Based on the above details, the registration number will be generated
• After this, the candidate needs to enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along with the photograph and signature
• After this, the candidate must complete the payment procedure by paying the application fee
• At last, the candidate must click on the “submit” button
• The candidate can take a printout copy of the payment receipt and application form for future references

Application Fees

Selection Procedure

The selection process for UIIC Recruitment 2023 will consist of two stages.

• Stage 1: It will contain an online test which will be an Objective-based paper.
• Stage 2: It will contain an online test for the Regional Language Test

The Scores of Online Examination will be obtained by adopting the following procedure:

• The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying a penalty for wrong answers.
• Final selection will be made based on performance in the Online exam subject to qualifying for the Regional Language Test.

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of Stage 2 under UIIC Recruitment 2023 will be declared later. The Stage 1 exam will be of 120 minutes (2 hours). The objective tests except the test on the “English Language” will be bilingual (in English and Hindi). For each wrong answer marked one fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted as a penalty. However, there shall not be any penalty for the unanswered questions.
