DHE Scholarship 2022: The Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam has extended the last date to apply for various scholarship schemes for the year 2022-23. The DHE Scholarship 2022 is for students of Assam pursuing Graduation, Post-Graduation, and PG Research in any recognized institute. Interested candidates may read this article for complete information.

Assam government has released the DHE scholarship 2022 in three categories however one student can apply only for one scholarship:-

• Combined Merit Scholarship (Degree & Master Degree)
• Scholarship for Girl Students Belonging to Minority Community (Degree and Master Degree)
• PG Research (Ph.D./ MPhil/ LLM) Scholarship

Benefits of DHE Scholarship 2022

• ₹300 per month for UG courses
• ₹500 per month for PG courses

Steps to apply

Registration

Go to the registration tab on the home page of the official website, and click on it. The following registration window will appear. Enter the following details sequentially:

• DHE Unique Id: Enter the DHE Unique Id. It is unique for each student
• Enter all the required details
• Create a strong password
• Click on the submit button

Fill out the application form for the DHE Scholarship 2022

• Now login with your DHE Unique Id and newly created password
• Then Click on the right arrow button to log in
• Now fill in all the required details that include personal details, academic details, Bank details, Upload documents, and account details
• After filling up all your details navigate to the home page of the dashboard
• You will see the scholarships mentioned
• Click on Apply Now button to apply for your relevant DHE Scholarship 2022
• You can also download the detailed advertisement by clicking on the download button
• After completing the above steps you will find your application form at the bottom
• Download both the Application Form & the Declaration of DHE Scholarship 2022
• You have to print the hardcopies and get them verified by your Institution
• Finally, upload the documents in the documents upload section

List of documents required to upload

• PRC from DC/ S.D.O. as Proof of Domicile of State of Assam (mandatory). b) Certificate from the Registrar/ Head of the Institution in which the candidate is at present studying (mandatory)
• Final mark sheet of last qualifying examinations (i.e. HS/TDC)
• Photograph and Signature of the candidate

DHE Scholarship 2022; General Conditions for Eligibility

• The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship shall be 60% in Higher Secondary for those who apply for Combined Merit Degree Scholarship Scheme
• The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship shall be 60% in General Degree Course for those who apply for Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship Scheme
• Students pursuing general Degree and Master Degree courses in Arts/ Science/ Commerce discipline in any recognized institution for the session 2021-22 are eligible for the schemes
• The student must be a domicile of Assam (PRC document mandatory)
• The Students must have valid (up-to-date) Bank Accounts in their name (Preferably in SBI) and details to be submitted along with the application (Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code)
• The scholarship shall be disbursed through the DBT system to the beneficiaries
• The Candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution to apply for DHE Scholarship 2022
• Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in all cases and also be restricted as per budget allocation
