Tezpur University Admission 2023: Deadline extended for PG, PhD, and BTech online application submission

Tezpur University Admission 2023: Tezpur University is granting a few more days for candidates to get themselves registered online for admission into all the Postgraduate, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) programmes offered. As per the official notice issued by the University on the 28th of April 2023, the last date for submission of online applications has been extended, as mentioned below in this article.

Tezpur University Entrance Test – TUEE 2023

The selection for admission to B.Tech. programmes at Tezpur University will be based on the Common Ranking List (CRL) of JEE (Mains) 2023. And all PG and PhD programmes including B.Tech. (Lateral entry to 2nd year) will be through TUEE 2023.

An applicant may apply for a maximum of three (03) programmes, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria, by paying a single application cum counselling fee. Candidates applying to Tezpur University for multiple programmes must specify their preferences for the programmes carefully while filling in the Tezpur University application form.

Documents to be uploaded

• A passport-size photograph (height: 250 | Width: 200 Pixels) (250 KB)
• Scanned copy of the signature (height: 150 | Width: 200 Pixels) (50 KB)
• All academic transcripts (Certificates & mark sheets).
• Copy of the valid score card of GATE/NET/SET etc. if applying for Ph. D./MTech.
• Copy of the relevant category certificate issued by the competent authority, if seeking admission under any reserved category.
• Copy of the Sponsorship/No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the employer, if the candidate is employed.
• Separate undertakings for the category and appearing in the qualifying examination.
• A certificate issued by the Defence authority that the candidate is the widow/ ward/wife of the Defence personnel as per the Priority set by the Govt of India.
• Relevant certificate(s) as evidence of winning a medal(s) in a National or International sporting event(s), if any.

Steps to Apply for Tezpur University Admission

Step 1: Register using the “Sign Up” process. The email ID and mobile number used for Tezpur University Admission registration must be valid and functional and should belong to the applicant. Communications will be done only to the registered email address or mobile number.

Step 2: Click “Apply Now” in your dashboard to complete the application form fill-up process.

Step 3: Select an admission criterion and select the programme(s) under that criterion.

Note: If you are applying for more than one programme under a selected admission criterion, YOU HAVE TO SELECT THE PREFERENCE Numbers as 1, 2, and 3 etc. depending upon your preference among the programmes.

Check “I have read the Prospectus” and click next

Step 4:

Step i – Enter the Personal Information
Step ii – Enter Address and Contact Information
Step iii – Enter Academic Details

– PG Programmes:

Enter qualification details (up to Degree level). Candidates must enter semester-wise marks by adding new row (Click ADD NEW button) for the qualifying / pre-qualifying examination or for the result awaited.

-PhD Programmes:

Enter qualification details (up to PG level). Candidates have to enter semester-wise marks by adding a new row (Click ADD NEW button) for the qualifying / pre-qualifying examination or for the result awaited.

Step iv – Upload the following (against Document1, Document2 etc.), accept declaration and submit

Step 5: Click “Payment and Final Submission”, pay the prescribed fee for Tezpur University online registration using the online payment gateway.

Step 6: Take a printout of the information submitted. This printout will be required along with the other original documents at the time of admission
