T N College Recruitment 2024: The authorities of Thong Nokbe College, have invited applications for the vacant position of Assistant Professor in the college. The eligible candidates can download the application form from the website of the respective college. Then, candidates must submit applications in the prescribed format to the office of the Principal along with complete bio-data and self-attested copies of testimonials from HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) onwards.

Pay Scale

The remuneration for candidates selected in the T N College Recruitment 2024 will include salary and other allowances per the rule of the Assam Government. The estimated salary details are given below:

• The age of the candidate for T N College Recruitment 2024 should not be more than 38 years for the post of Assistant Professor as of 01/01/2024
• However, certain relaxations of the age criteria per Govt norms exist for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PwD candidates. The details of the relaxation are given below:

Educational Qualifications

The educational details for applying under T N College Recruitment 2024 are given below:

• Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulation 2009 (Link attached below) shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET
• Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale) at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned subject. Relaxation of marks and eligibility criteria will be as per the latest Govt. OM/ Guidelines
• A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master level for the SC/ ST/ Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categorised for the purpose of eligibility. The 5% relaxation will not include any grace
• The period of time taken by Candidates to acquire an M.Phil and PhD Degree shall not be considered as Teaching/research experience for appointment to the positions
• In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority
• The candidates must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and knowledge of the local language
• Publications and other relevant eligibilities can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond
• The reference date for qualifying: The candidate has to acquire qualifications as of the last date for submitting applications. Eligibility like M.Phil./Ph.D./Seminar paper/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond

Selection Procedure

• Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
• Certificates of HSLC to Post-Graduation Degree

• Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)
• NET/ SLET/ SET certificate
• M.Phil./ Ph.D./ Seminar Papers/ Publications
