IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024: The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI Bank) Ltd. is inviting online applications for the 600 posts of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM). The notification of IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024 was released on 20th November 2024, and the tentative date for the Online Test will be declared later.

The recruitment process is open for Grade ‘O’ positions, which are for Specialist Agri Asset Officers (AOO) and Generalists. There are 600 vacancies in total, with 100 positions allocated for Specialist Agri Asset Officers (AOO) and 500 for Generalists category. Candidates can apply based on the eligibility criteria outlined in the article.

IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024: Vacancy details

The category-wise vacancies for the selection under IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024 are as follows:

Emoluments

• The candidate who gets selection under IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024, after joining the Bank’s services as Grade ‘O’, compensation on Cost to Company (CTC) basis would range between Rs.6.14 lakh to Rs.6.50 lakh per annum (Class A city) at the time of joining.
• Annual increment shall be granted based on performance or any other parameters as decided by the Bank from time to time.

Eligibility

Age Limit

• The candidate should be a minimum of 20 years & a maximum of 25 years.
• So, the candidate must have been born not earlier than October 2, 1999, and not later than October 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).
• Also, the age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories is relaxed, as shown in the official advertisement linked below.

Educational Criteria

A) Generalist

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a University recognized/ approved by the Government/ Govt. Bodies viz., AICTE, UGC.
• Passing only a diploma course will not qualify as eligibility criteria.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 60% for General, EWS and OBC candidates (55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) or equivalent CGPA/ OGPA.

B) Specialist (AAO)

• The candidate must have a four-year degree ( B.Sc/ B Tech/ B.E) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture engineering, Fishery Science/ Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Dairy Science/ technology, food science/ technology, Pisciculture, agro-forestry, or Sericulture from a University recognized/ approved by the Government/ Government bodies viz., AICTE, UGC.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 60% for General, EWS and OBC candidates (55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) or equivalent CGPA/ OGPA.

Computer Literacy

Candidates applying under IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024 are expected to have proficiency in computers/ IT-related aspects.

Selection Process

The selection process of IDBI Bank Recruitment 2024 shall comprise 4 stages:

• Online Test (OT)
• Document Verification (DV)
• Personal Interview (PI)
• Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT)

Online Test

• The above tests except the tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
• For each wrong answer given by the candidate, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected/ final score.
• Candidates qualifying in the Online Test will form the pool of shortlisted candidates and will be called for further selection process, based on a higher order of marks and age within their respective category, subject to the availability of vacancies in the respective category and/ or at the discretion of the Bank.
• The personal interviews shall be of 100 marks and candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks in the interview which shall not be less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The combined final score for the selection of candidates under IDBI JAM Recruitment 2024 shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the OT and Interview.
