UPSC NDA 2025 Exam: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification and opened the application portal for NDA & NA-I, 2025. This year, the commission has released a total vacancy of 406. Eligible candidates can now submit the application form, which will remain accessible till the 31st December, 2024.

Eligibility
- The male/ female candidates willing to apply for UPSC NDA 2025/ NA 2025 should be unmarried.
- The candidate should not have been born earlier than the 2nd July 2006 and not later than the 1st July 2009.
- For the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy, candidates need to be 12th Class pass/ appearing of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, candidates need to be12th Class pass/ appearing with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Steps to apply
- To apply for UPSC NDA 2025/ NA 2025 Exam, candidates need to register themself on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform of UPSC (If done earlier or if the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to fill up the online application for the exam)
- Next, go to the UPSC log-in page and log in
- Verify your details given during Registration
- Go to Dashboard and click on Apply to Active Notification
- Click on the NDA/ NA exam link
- Fill out the required details as asked in the portal
- Then pay the application fees and select the preferred city for the exam centre
- Upload the photograph, signature, and photo-identity proof
- Lastly, submit the form and don’t forget to download a copy of the application form for future reference
Application Fees
- The application fee for UPSC NDA/ NA (I) 2025 is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- However, all the SC/ ST candidates/ female candidates/ Wards of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs as specified in the notification are exempted from this payment.
Selection Process of UPSC NDA 2025/ NA 2025
- The candidates have to appear in an offline OMR-based examination, which will consist of 2 parts, the Mathematics and General Ability Test.
- Then, the candidates securing the minimum cutoff in the written test will be called for the SSB interview.
- Based on total marks secured by candidates in the Written Examination and the test/interview conducted by the Services Selection Board, the final allocation/ selection for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy will be made as per the available number of vacancies.
