Salary / Pay Scale

The posts of Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs and Sub-Inspector (Executive) under SSC CPO 2025 recruitment carry a pay scale of Level-6 with a salary structure ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/Citizenship

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan with a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit (As on 01.08.2025)

  • General age limit: 20 to 25 years (Born between 02.08.2000 and 01.08.2005).
  • Relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and Departmental candidates as per government rules.
  • Departmental candidates of Delhi Police must have at least 3 years of continuous service and their age limits vary based on category.

Educational Qualification

  • A candidate applying under SSC CPO 2025 recruitment must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent as on the closing date of application.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year can also apply but must possess the qualification by the cut-off date.
  • For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police (Male), a valid Driving License for LMV is mandatory at the date of Physical Testing.

  • Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Note: Both papers are objective multiple-choice questions with negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Marks scored in multi-shift exams will be normalized. NCC certificate holders will receive bonus marks.

Steps to Apply

  • The candidate applying under SSC CPO 2025 recruitment process must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) given below
  • Fill the Online Application Form using OTR credentials.
  • Upload a live photo (without cap or spectacles) and scanned signature as per specifications.
  • Choose preferred examination centres (up to three) in order of priority.
  • Pay the application fee online using digital payment modes.
  • Submit the application and take printout of the submitted form for records.
  • Use the window for application correction (24.10.2025 to 26.10.2025) if needed, by paying correction charges.

Application Fee

  • Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates.
  • Women, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempt from fee payment.
