Pay Scale
- Candidates selected under SBI CBO Vacancies 2026 will be placed in Junior Management Grade Scale I.
- They will receive a starting basic pay of ₹48,480, under the pay scale ₹48,480–2000/7–62,480–2340/2–67,160–2680/7–85,920 with two advance increments for those having over two years of officer-level experience in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
- Additional Benefits such as DA, HRA/ Lease Rental, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, Medical Facility and other allowances will be provided as per SBI rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Cut-off Date: 31st December 2025
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government norms.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for SBI CBO Vacancies 2026 must have:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Candidates with professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, CA, or ICWA are also eligible.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of RBI.
- Candidates must submit a certified job profile issued by the employer.
- Candidates from clerical cadre, supervisory cadre of SBI, or subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Banks are not eligible.
Local Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the local language of the circle applied for. Those who have studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 are exempted from the local language test.
