SSC Examination: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the implementation of Aadhaar based biometric authentication for all its competitive examinations beginning May 2025 in order to enhance the integrity of the examination process and ensure smoother candidate verification at multiple stages.

Aadhaar Authentication for Upcoming SSC Examinations
The Staff Selection Commission has decided to implement Aadhar Based Biometric Authentication in all its forthcoming examinations. Candidates will be able to authenticate themselves using Aadhaar at the time of online registration, while filling up online application form for the examinations and while appearing at the test center to take examinations conducted by the Commission from May 2025 onwards.
However, such Aadhaar authentication is voluntary and is intended as a measure to promote the ease of engaging with the examination process and to uphold transparency and security in recruitment processes.
Meanwhile, SSC also announced that the calendar of examinations for the year 2025-26 is under review.
