Assam Direct Recruitment Exam: If you are a candidate, who is preparing for the second phase of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination to be held this year, and currently looking for the previous year’s question papers, then you are in the right place. The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) was conducted by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) last year with an aim to fill all the vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV level jobs within the state administration.

The first phase of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination was held last year and for remaining open vacancies, SLRC will conduct the examination in 2023. The announcement regarding the recruitment of 32,000 candidates was made on 10th August and further notice was expected on 10th September, 2023. However, due to some official issues, the notification has been delayed and finally, it is released on October 31st by the Assam government.

Assam Direct Recruitment Exam: Overview

The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination is conducted to select eligible candidates for various Grade III and Grade IV vacancies. The qualified candidates are recruited into several departments under the Government of Assam. In the last recruitment drive, a total number of 26,441 candidates were recruited by the State Govt. For both Class III and Class IV vacancies, the selection procedure was purely based on a merit list. The final merit list was prepared on the basis of a written exam and was followed by a skill test.

The same selection procedure will be followed for the second phase of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination 2023. There have been the issuance of more than 32,000 job vacancies demonstrating the government’s commitment to tackling unemployment and ensuring economic growth in Assam.

Exam Pattern

There is a full chance that the upcoming Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2023 will follow the same pattern that was followed during the first phase. In the tables given below, we have laid out the detailed breakdown of the tests conducted in ADRE 2022.
