Indian Air Force 2022 AFCAT-1 results declared, check steps and download results now

Indian Air Force has announced the AFCAT-1 results on the 9th of March 2022 on their official website. The Air Force Common Aptitude Test (AFCAT) examination and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) were held on three consecutive dates which are – 12th, 13th, and 14th February 2022.

Steps to download AFCAT-1 Results 2022

Candidates can check their AFCAT-1 results by simply following the provided procedure below by logging into the official website.

  • Above all, visit the official website of Indian Air Force that is: afcat.cdac.in
  • Then go to the ‘Students login’ section
  • Clicking on ‘AFCAT 01/2022’, a new window will appear on the screen
  • Enter respective user ID, password and captcha carefully
  • Then click on the ‘Login’ button
  • The AFCAT-1 result will appear, download it and make a hardcopy of the same

More about the AFCAT Examination

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Aptitude Test, an examination conducted by the Indian Air Force to select candidates for recruitment in Group-A gazetted officers for both technical and non-technical posts. The examination is held at the national level twice a year in the month of February and August all over the country.

This year the AFCAT examination was conducted from the 12th of February to the 14th of February 2022 and the AFCAT-1 results were announced yesterday. The application forms for the AFCAT-1 examination were released nearly in the months of June and December, last year. All branches thereby undergo the AFCAT examination, except for the NDA and CDSE branches.

Pay and Stipends

In the case of flying ground and duty branches, a Flight Cadet receives a fixed amount of Rs 56,100 as a stipend per month in his/her training period. Only for Meteorology branches, stipend shall be converted to pay for all purposes on completion of training with retrospective effect and the allowance admissible on such payments will be paid on such conversion. For Tech branches, commissioning pay will be included in the integrated pay band of a U/T Flying officer.
