AIIMS Recruitment 2023: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raebareli is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment drive against 176 vacant posts of Senior Residents (SRs) (Non-Academic) in various specialties. The AIIMS Recruitment 2023 is organized under the Government of India Residency Scheme at AIIMS, Raebareli. Candidates who are willing to engage themselves in this field can approach the official portal to get registered online before the 7th of June, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
  • Candidates must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
  • For Broad Speciality postgraduate degree i.e. MD/ MS/ DNB in the specialty concerned or its equivalent.
  • For a Super specialty, the essential qualification shall be MD/ MS/ DNB in a related broad specialty or DM/ M.Ch/ DNB in concerned super speciality.
  • For the Pathology Department, the essential qualification shall be MD pathology/ MD Lab Medicine.
  • For the Dentistry Department, the essential qualification shall be MDS in Maxillofacial surgery.
  • The candidates completing their term of MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ M.Ch/ DNB on 30th of June 2023 are also eligible to apply for the Senior Resident posts in their relevant discipline.

Age Limit:

The senior Resident Age limit for post of SR is 45 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates). In case of Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, age relaxation up to a maximum period of ten (10) years for General Category, Thirteen (13) years for OBC category and fifteen (15) years for SC/ST category candidates.

Selection Process

The AIIMS Recruitment 2023 selection of the candidates will be done through the mentioned stages:

  • Written Examination (MCQ based) – 80% weightage
  • Departmental Assessment – 20% weightage 

Pay Scale

The pay scale of AIIMS Recruitment 2023 for the posts of Senior Residents (Level-11) is a minimum of Rs.67,700/- + NPA (for medical personnel) as per recommendations of the 7th CPC.
