PFRDA Recruitment 2026: Apply for 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Posts

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released Advertisement No. 03/2026 inviting online applications for Recruitment of Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) 2026 across the General, Research, Actuary, and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams. PFRDA Recruitment 2026 is being conducted to fill 30 vacancies at the Assistant Manager level in this pension sector regulator, which functions under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, with offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.

The online application window for PFRDA Recruitment 2026 opened on 3rd September 2026 and will close on 24th September 2026. Selection will be made through a three-phase process comprising Phase I online screening, Phase II online examination, and Phase III interview, with Phase I scheduled for 15th October 2026 and Phase II for 20th November 2026.

Selected candidates for PFRDA Recruitment 2026 will be placed in the following pay scale.

Eligibility Criteria for PFRDA Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification (as on 31st July 2026)

• General stream: Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline, or Bachelor’s Degree in Law, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognised university, or ACA/ FCA from ICAI, or ACS/ FCS from ICSI, or ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI, or CFA from the CFA Institute.
• Research stream: Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years’ duration) in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative/ Financial/ Mathematical/ Business/ Agricultural/ Industrial Economics, or Business Analytics; or in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, or related finance disciplines; or in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Big Data Analytics; or a Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a one-year post graduate diploma in Statistics or a related subject.
• Actuary stream: Graduation from a recognised university/institute, along with a pass or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) Examination.
• Official Language (Rajbhasha) stream: Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; or Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/ Hindi Translation from a recognised university/institute.

Age Limit

• Candidates must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 31st July 2026, meaning they must be born on or after 1st August 1996.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen categories are entitled to age relaxation as applicable. Complete category-wise relaxation details are available in the official notification.

Selection Process

• PFRDA Recruitment 2026 will follow a three-stage selection process:
  • Phase I (online screening examination of two papers, 100 marks each)
  • Phase II (online examination of two papers, 100 marks each), and
  • Phase III (Interview).
• Marks obtained in Phase I are used only for shortlisting candidates for Phase II and are not counted towards final selection.
• Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted, in order of merit, for the Phase III interview.
• Final selection will be based on total marks secured in Phase II and Phase III, with Phase II carrying 85% weightage and Phase III carrying 15% weightage.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Exam Pattern

The PFRDA Recruitment 2026 pattern is given as follows:

Phase I Online Examination (15th October 2026)

Note: There is negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to each question in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of Phase I, and candidates need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as an aggregate cut-off to be shortlisted for Phase II.

Phase II Online Examination (20th November 2026)

Note: Paper 1 of Phase II will be evaluated only for candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in Paper 2. There is negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned for wrong answers in Paper 2 of Phase II.

Documents Required

• Recent passport-size colour photograph as per specifications
• Signature on white paper with black ink
• Left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink
• Handwritten declaration in English, as per the prescribed format
• Category/ PwBD/ Income and Asset certificates, wherever applicable

Steps to Apply for

• Visit the application portal by clicking on the link given below in the “Important Links” section.
• Click on “Click Here for New Registration” and enter your name, contact details, and email ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
• Complete the application form using the “Save and Next” facility, and verify all details carefully before final submission.
• Upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwriting declaration as per the specified format and size.
• Preview the application form, make corrections if needed, and click “Complete Registration”.
• Proceed to the “Payment” tab and pay the requisite application fee online (wherever applicable).
• Click “Submit” and take a printout of the system-generated application form of PFRDA Recruitment 2026 along with the e-receipt for future reference.

Note: Once an application is submitted, no request for change or correction in any particulars, including category, will be entertained under any circumstances. Separate applications, along with the applicable fee, are required for each stream, subject to a maximum of two streams per candidate.

Application Fee

Application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances, and a separate application fee must be paid for each stream applied for.
