Pay Scale
The candidates selected under APSC Urban Technical Officer Recruitment 2025 will avail a pay scale in the range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700 plus other allowances admissible under the rules of the Government of Assam.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years as on 01-01-2025
- Maximum age: 40 years as on 01-01-2025
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC/Tea Tribes & Adivasi candidates
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age 42 years, with relaxations applicable for OBC and SC/ST categories
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years relaxation regardless of category
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying under APSC Urban Technical Officer Recruitment 2025 must have following given criteria:
- For Civil/ Public Health Engineer: They must have a full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institute. Alternatively, they can qualify if you passed the AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering (Parts A & B) and enrolled in the AMIE course on or before May 31, 2013.
- For Mechanical Engineer: They need a full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institute. An alternative qualification is passing the AMIE (India) in Mechanical Engineering (Parts A & B) if they enrolled in the course on or before May 31, 2013.
- For Electrical Engineer: The requirement is a full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institute. You can also qualify if you passed the AMIE (India) in Electrical Engineering (Parts A & B) and enrolled in the course on or before May 31, 2013.
- For Environmental Engineer: They must hold a full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or a full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a master’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institute
