Important Announcement on Assam Direct Recruitment Admit Card 2024 for Grade IV Exam

Assam Direct Recruitment Admit Card 2024: The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) released a notice today, on the 6th of October regarding the Admit Cards for the written examination of the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2024 for Grade IV vacancies. Earlier, SLRC informed us that they would conduct the written exam (Grade IV) on the 27th of October, 2024.

In the latest notification, SLRC has informed all candidates that the Admit cards for the written examinations to be held on the 27th of October for the Class-IV posts will be available for download from the official websites of Assam State School Education Board (erstwhile SEBA) and Govt. of Assam from 11:30 AΜ of 15th of October, 2024.

On the 27th of October, SLRC will conduct two examinations, i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be conducted in 1st half for Grade IV vacancies, which requires candidates to be Class 10th passed, or Class 10th passed along with an ITI pass certificate in the trade of Wireman/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Welder/ Machinist/ Electronics Mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved Institute. Whereas, Paper II will be conducted for Class VIII level posts in the 2nd half of the same day. Earlier, on the 15th and 29th of September, written tests for Grade III vacancies were held.

How to download Admit Cards?

After 11:30 AM of 15th October, candidates who have applied for Grade 4 vacancies of Assam Direct Recruitment 2024 can download their Admit Cards by following the steps mentioned below:

• First of all, visit the official website of SLRC
• Next, click on the link shown for downloading the Assam Direct Recruitment Admit Card 2024
• Now, log in using your Application Number and Password
• Next, click on the ‘Admit Card’ button and download it
• Lastly, take a printout of the same as you will need to produce it while appearing in the exams

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

• The Syllabus for Paper I will align with the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination of Board of Secondary Education, Assam for HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed category, including HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed along with ITI pass certificate in the trade of Wireman/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Welder/ Machinist/ Electronics Mechanic from a recognised institute.
• On the other hand, the syllabus for Paper II will align with the Elementary School pass-level examination of SCERT for reading upto Class VIll category.
• In both papers, the subjects will be English, Social Studies, Math, General Knowledge, Mental Ability, and Logical Reasoning.
• The examinations will have 135 multiple-choice questions and each of them will carry 1 mark.
• The duration of the written test will be 150 minutes or 2.5 hours.
• There’s a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• The medium of Question papers will be Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo, and Hindi.

What after the Written Test?

Once the Assam Direct Recruitment Admit Card 2024 for the Grade IV Exam is released and the written test is conducted, SLRC will shortlist candidates to invite them for oral interviews/ skill tests in the ratio of 1:2 against the number of vacancies, based on their performance in the written examination. These shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview/ skill test of 15 marks. The dates of the interview/ skill test and modalities about the same will be notified in due course of time.
