The Office of the Deputy Commissioner,kamrup, Amingaon has recently released a notification for filling up vacant posts for the post of Lot Mandal (Grage III) in pursuance of the approval accorded by the Revenue and DM (District Magistrate) Department, Dispur, Assam Government.
The notification now invites applications from eligible candidates who are citizens of India and domiciled in the state of Assam to fill up the 30 vacant posts under the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup, Amingaon Assam Government, in the pay band of Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- per month and Grade Pay Rs. 6200/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria for Lat Mandal posts, Assam Government
- Age- Candidate must be of age between 18 years to 40 years as of 1st January 2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in case of candidates of OBC/MOBC, 5 years in case of candidates of SC &ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates as per Govt. office Memorandum issued from time to time.
- Education qualification-
- The candidate must have passed the HSLC examination or equivalent examination.
- The candidates must possess a valid 6 (Six) months RCCC training passed certificate from Assam
- Surveys & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.

Steps to apply
- Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed form online mode only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
- Instruction for filling up the prescribed online form will be available on web site niyukti.assam.gov.in/Imkamrup.
- Before applying online application, candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions available on the above website.
- The application must be submitted online through the official website niyukti.assam.gov.in/lmkamrup (the link is also available through the Recruitment Page of the District website i.e. kamrup.assam.gov.in).
- Candidates are required to upload the latest passport size photograph, Admit card/Certificate of Metric/ HSLC examination, HLSC Mark sheet, 6 (six) month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) training Passed Certificate, 6 (six) month diploma/certificate in computer proficiency, Scanned signature, NOC from through concerned authority(for those already employed).
- Also, required EWS Certificate (in Case of the EWS category), Caste Certificate in case of reserved Category candidates), Employment Exchange Card, and Disability Certificate( in case of differently abled /PWD {low Vision}), issued by the competent authority, declaration in Form “A” under the rule, 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (application for small family norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules,2019 to be submitted. Please ensure that scanned copies are legible.
Important Dates
The online application facility for this job vacancy advertisement by Assam Government will be available from 6th November 2022 to 5th December 2022. Candidates must note that no manual application form will be accepted.
The date and venue of the written test/computer Proficiency Test will be notified later on through Newspaper/District website by Assam Government and in the same link of the Niyukti portal and they will have to download their ADMIT CARD from the above-mentioned website.
Syllabus for the exam
The Candidates applying for the post of Lat Mandal under the amalgamated establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup, Assam Government will have to first appear written test. And those who get shortlisted in the written examination will have to be eligible for the computer ProficiencyTest (practical). The syllabus and marking scheme for written exam is as follows-

The Computer ProficiencyTest (practical) will be conducted for 25 marks.
Selection Procedure
- Against each vacancy, 4 (four) nos of candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test.
- The candidates who qualified for the written test must produce all original testimonials for verification at the time of the computer Proficiency Test.
- The final selection list will be prepared by Assam Government on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in both objective-type written tests and will contain the names of candidates equal to the number of vacancies advertised and selected. There will be no waiting list.
Important Note
- The appointment shall be made after keeping due reservation of the vacancies for SC, ST(P).ST(H) candidates as per Govt. guidelines and maintaining Roster Points vide Govt. OM No. TAD/BC/68/2011/Pt-1/136, dtd 4″ Nov/2013.
- The selected candidates will have to submit an Undertaking to the appointing Authority of Assam Government that they will abide by the New Pension Rules of the Govt. issued vide Finance Department’s Letter No. BW-3/03/Pt-11/1, dtd 25/01/2005.
- Since the applications are submitted online, the question of submission of applications through
proper channels in case of the candidates are already employed becomes redundant. However such
candidates shall intimate their appropriate appointing authority about the submission of the application. - All appointments will be made after the Police verification report as per the procedure.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test/ computer Proficiency Test.
