Specializations in the Department of Performing Arts

The Performing Arts department under Auniati University Recruitment 2026 has four posts, each tied to a distinct area of specialisation.

• The Instrument post requires specialisation in Khool, with demonstrated competence in performance, pedagogy, and the traditional Satriya repertoire.
• The Satriya and Indian Classical Dance post calls for proficiency in one or more Indian classical and/or traditional dance forms, with preference given to National Award recipients.
• The Satriya Dance with Vocal post needs a strong traditional Satriya background along with expertise in Satriya Vocal Music, devotional repertoire, and stage performance.
• The Drama and Vocal post requires specialisation in Satriya Bhaona and Modern Drama, covering acting, direction, script interpretation, stagecraft, and vocal presentation, with additional experience in folk music and folk dance preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Only eligible Indian citizens can apply under the Auniati University Recruitment 2026 notification.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must possess the qualifications prescribed under the applicable UGC norms for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor.
