The National AYUSH Mission (NAM), Assam released an advertisement on 31st of July, 2023 and announced about 204 vacancies of Community Health Officers (CHO). The NAM, Assam is looking to recruit eligible candidates, who are willing to work in mission mode for engagement on a contractual basis in the CHO position. Job Description
- Designation: Community Health Officer (CHO)
- Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- and performance-based incentives up to Rs. 15,000/-

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have the BAMS/ BHMS qualifications from any of the recognized institutes.
- The candidates must be registered under the State Council/ Board of Assam.
- Age Limit: A candidate’s age should not exceed 45 years as of the last date of application.
- Desirable Criteria:
- Proficiency in regional/ local languages and dialects.
- Working experience in the public health system preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Centre level will be given weightage.
