The application portal for CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 is open. Students can apply now for this wonderful scheme, which will helps research scholars of Assam.

CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025: The Chief Minister’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme, an initiative by the Government of Assam’s Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, is designed to provide financial support to the state’s research scholars. This program, implemented by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, aims to foster a strong research culture by alleviating the financial constraints faced by scholars. The eligible candidates for CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 can apply on or before 31 August 2025.

Earlier in the budget session, Assam’s Finanace Minister Ajanta Neog introduced the CM Jibon Prerana Scheme 2025 in the month of February, 2025.

Benefits

For Research Scholars₹25,000 (One-time)
For Divyang Research Scholars₹40,000 (One-time)

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must be a full-time research scholar in State or Central University of Assam or have been admitted in the year 2025
  • Only permanent residents of Assam can avail of benefits under this scheme.
  • Research Scholars will have to provide the Identity Card issued by the University.

Selection Procedure

The process for selecting beneficiaries for the CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 involves several steps:

  • First, applicants must submit their forms online through the Directorate of Investment and Development of Skill (DIDS) Portal.
  • Following this, an official from their institution, such as the Registrar, Principal, or Vice Chancellor, will verify their information within seven business days.
  • The applications that pass this initial check will then be reviewed by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training.
  • Once this final review is complete, a list of selected beneficiaries will be created, and the financial aid will be sent directly to them through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Documents Required

Candidates need to upload the following documents in the specified format during the online application process under CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025:

  • Proof of Identity Contact Details Proof of PhD Admission (Admission Letter or Certificate)
  • Institution Details and Enrolment Number
  • Self-declaration and Exclusion Compliance Documents
  • Proof of Permanent Residence in Assam
  • Documents proving eligibility as Divyang (for Divyang Research Scholars)
  • Income Certificate of Family Employment Status Certificate of Parents
  • Declaration regarding non-receipt of other high-value scholarships.

Applying for the CM Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 is a straightforward online process for eligible PhD scholars.

  • Go to the official portal for the Directorate of Investment and Development of Skills (DIDS) and find the section for the scheme.
  • On the application page, you’ll fill in your personal, contact, and institutional information, including your enrollment number.
  • You will also need to upload scanned copies of all your required documents, such as your proof of PhD admission and residency.
  • Once you have completed the form and uploaded your documents, be sure to review everything carefully before you submit your application.
  • After you submit it, your application will be sent to your institution for verification.

Application Fee

There is no application fee for those candidate who want to apply for the scheme.
