DUPGET 2025: Apply now for Post Graduate Programmes in Dibrugarh University

DUPGET 2025: Dibrugarh University has recently announced the dates of the Dibrugarh University Postgraduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2025. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various academic programs offered by the university. The University officials issued a notice on the 30th of April, 2025. Dibrugarh University conducts the DUPGET examination every year to select eligible candidates for admission into various postgraduate courses.

The selected candidates are admitted into the University and different colleges and institutes affiliated with Dibrugarh University. Application for appearing in the DUPGET 2025 will be accepted in online mode only. The last date for submitting an application form is the 26th of May, 2025.

Courses Offered

The DUPGET 2025 is held for the selection of candidates for the courses & subjects which are listed below:

• Master of Arts (MA): Anthropology, Assamese, Bodo, Economics, History, Sociology, Statistics, Geography, Education, English, Mathematics, Political Science, Philosophy, Applied Psychology, Mass Communication, and Women’s Studies.
• Master of Science (M.Sc): Anthropology, Applied Geology, Life Sciences (Zoology), Life Sciences (Botany), Physics, Statistics, Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biotechnology & Bio-informatics.
• M.Com. in Finance, and Marketing
• M.Ed.
• M.Sc. Tech. in Applied Geophysics
• MCA (1+2) year Post Graduate Programme
• Master in Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM)

Eligibility Criteria

For postgraduate admissions in 2025, the required educational qualifications differ across departments, as outlined in the official notifications. Candidates are advised to refer to the ‘Important Links’ section for the official notice and review the ‘Check Your Eligibility’ section for department-specific criteria.

Selection Procedure through DUPGET 2025

• The students will be selected based on the merit list of DUPGET 2025, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
• The 80% of the seats are reserved for students who graduated from Dibrugarh University whereas 20% of the seats are reserved for students who graduated from other recognized universities.
• A candidate can apply for a maximum of 4 subjects in DUPGET 2025. However, they should not choose more than one subject from the same shift as mentioned below-
  • Shift 1: Anthropology, History, Education, English, Mathematics, Applied Geology, Chemistry
  • Shift 2: Assamese, Bodo, Biotechnology & Bio-informatics, Philosophy, Political Science, M.T.T.M.
  • Shift 3: Applied Psychology, Economics, Geography, Life Sciences (Zoology), Life Sciences (Botany), M.Ed., Physics, Statistics
  • Shift 4: M.Com. in (i) Finance and (ii) Marketing, M.C.A., Mass Communication, Sociology, Women’s Studies

How to apply for DUPGET 2025?

• First of all, candidates need to visit the DUPGET 2025 Portal (scroll down for the link).
• Then, candidates must register on the portal by clicking the “Register” button and providing their name, mobile number, and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP.
• After successful registration, the candidate needs to log in using his/ her mobile number and the password created in the previous step.
• Upon logging in, the candidate should click on the “Apply” button next to the “DUPGET 2025” link, which will open the application form. The candidate must fill in the form step by step.
• After completing the application form, the candidate should click the “Submit and Review” button. A preview of the filled form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully review the information. If any corrections are needed, they can go back and edit the form.
• Pay the examination fee online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
• Finally, submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for your records.

Application Fee

The candidate needs to pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- only through online mode (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking).
