GATE Admit Card 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is all set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2025. The organizing institute has released the admit cards today, on 7th of January for the 30 test papers, that will be conducted under GATE 2025. These examinations will begin from 1st of February, 2025 and end on the 16th February 2025

How to download GATE Admit Card 2025?

The steps to download the admit card for GATE 2025 are as follows-

• Firstly, visit official website of GATE using the link given below
• Then click on the link saying “Application Login”
• Next login using the Enrollment Id/ Email Address and password, that you entered during registration process
• On successful login, you will find the admit card
• Download GATE Admit Card 2025 and take a printout of the same

Exam Pattern

• The GATE 2025 will have a total of 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers.
• As shown in GATE Admit Card 2025, candidates will be able to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations.
• The questions will be of 3 types, that is
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
  • Numerical Answer Type (NAT)
• There will be 65 Questions, 10 of which will be of General Aptitude, and the remaining 55 will be subject-specific.
• The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode and is scheduled from February 1st to February 16th, 2025 as per the GATE 2025 Exam Dates.
• Marking scheme:
  • Questions will be carry 1 mark and 2 marks.
  • For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Similarly, for a 2-mark MCQ, the 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ and NAT questions.
  • There is no partial marking for any question.

Exam Dates for GATE 2025

The GATE 2025 will be organised into four dates, and each day will be further divided into Morning and Afternoon sessions, with a total of 30 different test papers. The test in the morning session will be from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., whereas the afternoon session will be from 02:30 p.m. to 05:30 p.m.
