Educational Qualification/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a Master’s in Business Administration or Advanced Diploma in General Management from a University or Institution in India recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- 5 (five) years of experience in Process Management, I.T. Systems Management, Human Resources Management, or Financial Management.
- Candidates need to have good computer application skills and should be having at least 6 months’ diploma in Computer Application.
- The candidate must possess an Employment exchange registration number for the state.

Educational Qualification/ Experience for Stenographer Grade II:
- The candidate must be a graduate of a UGC-recognized University as of the date of advertisement of Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023.
- He/ she should possess a Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from an ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit a pass/ completion certificate/ diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.
- Must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.
- The candidate must possess an Employment exchange registration number to apply for Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023.

- A candidate who has passed the H.S. examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ University as of the date of the advertisement of Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023.

Phase 1 (Written Examination – OMR Based):

Stenographer Grade-II & Grade-III:

Stage 2 (Written test):
- The maximum mark of this stage is 70 Marks and the test duration is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes.
- Candidates equal to 10 times the number of vacancies (1: 10) who have qualified in the stenography test securing a minimum of 30 marks, shall be called for the written test.
- The written test will consist of objective type (OMR-based) multiple choice questions on English Language Proficiency (50 marks) and the Official Language of the state of Assam (Assamese) (20 marks) of 1/2 hour duration.
- Both the English and Assamese Language segment will be of qualifying nature and candidates will have to secure 40% marks in each segment to be eligible in these two segments.
Stage 3 (Viva-Voice):
- The maximum mark of this stage is 10 Marks.
- Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be called in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit in the Stenography Test for the Viva-Voice.
- The final merit position will be determined on the basis of the total marks obtained in the Stenography Test and Viva-Voice.

How to apply for Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023?
- Candidates need to visit the application portal for their desired post (links are given below).
- First, the candidates will need to register themselves on the official site.
- The combination of the Registration number and Date of Birth will be used as login credentials for the next phases
- Now, login to the portal for Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023 and fill out the application form
- Next, upload the necessary images/ documents as instructed and then click on the “SUBMIT CANDIDATURE” button
- After submitting their candidature, the candidates can now print challan by clicking on “Print Fee Payment Challan Form“.
- The candidate can then pay the application fee through the Challan Form by visiting the nearby bank. And the payment information will be reflected in the candidate’s account after two working days of payment.
