DHE Unique ID: The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam requires all aspiring students seeking online admission to create a unique ID. All the eligible students, who are seeking admission into various courses provided by State Universities/ Govt. & Provincialised Colleges under Higher Education (General) need to visit the dedicated web portal, built by DHE, and generate their Unique IDs.
Earlier 2 years ago, DHE released a notification, that is on the 4th of July, 2023, and informed all the students and stakeholders from colleges/ universities operating in Assam that Unique Id will be compulsory for all students while taking online admissions. And one student can generate only 1 (One) unique ID and that Unique ID shall be used in all applications for colleges/ universities. The candidate also needs to update their unique Ids from time to time, as they move forward in their education journey.
Documents Required for DHE Unique ID
All the students, who are looking to create DHE Unique Id will need the following details/ documents while filling out the form:
- Registration Card & Admit Card of the last Appeared Examination
- Bank Account Details
- An active mobile number
- An active Email ID
How to apply for DHE Unique ID?
To generate or create a unique ID, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official portal of DHE Unique ID.
- Fill up the Personal details, the examination & course information, and the bank details.
- Click on “submit” and your Unique ID will be created.
- Now go to the Student Login Section and log in with your Unique ID and Date of Birth.
- From the dashboard, you may download the Acknowledgement form for future reference.
How to update DHE Unique ID?
To update a unique ID, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official portal of DHE Unique ID.
- Now go to the Student Login Section and log in with your Unique ID and Date of Birth.
- On the dashboard, you will see different Sections viz. Personal Information, Bank Account Details, Qualifying Exam & Admission, Adress.
- Click on the ‘update’ link given below the above-mentioned Sections.
- Now make changes according to your need, and click on the ‘Save’ button
