Salary
The Security Assistant (Motor Transport) post under IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025 is classified under Group C Central Service, with a pay scale of Level-3 in the pay matrix ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100. Additionally, candidates will receive admissible Central Government allowances which include:
- Special Security Allowance will be 20% of basic pay.
- Cash compensation for duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Applicants applying under IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025 must be between 18 and 27 years of age as on 28th September 2025. Age relaxations are as follows:
- 5 years relaxation for SC/ ST candidates.
- 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates.
- Up to 40 years for departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service.
- Up to 35 years for general, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ ST widows, divorced, judicially separated women not remarried.
- Age relaxation as per Government norms for ex-servicemen.
- Maximum 5 years relaxation for meritorious sportspersons with valid certificates.
Educational Criteria
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board of education.
- Possession of domicile certificate of the state against which the candidate applies.
Experience and Skills
Other experience and skills required under IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025 isgiven below:
- Valid driving license for Motor Cars (Light Motor Vehicles) issued by a competent authority.
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism to remove minor vehicle defects.
- At least one year of driving experience post obtaining the valid driving license.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
Selection Process
- Candidates applying under IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025 will appear in a Tier-I online examination with objective multiple-choice questions.
- Qualified candidates based on Tier-I performance will be shortlisted for Tier-II, which includes a Motor Mechanism & Driving test cum Interview.
- Final selection depends on combined performance in Tier-I & Tier-II, subject to qualifying Tier-II with minimum 40% marks.
- Selected candidates will undergo Character & Antecedent verification and medical examination.
- Post is temporary with possibility for permanent appointment as per government regulations.
