Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released an official notification for Group A posts under the IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2025. After reviewing all the details related to the recruitment drive in this article, eligible candidates can submit their applications on or before April 7th, 2025.

The candidate selected under the IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2025 pay scale is given below-

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Librarian:

• The candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ on the UGC seven-point scale and a consistently good academic record.
• The candidate must have 13 years of experience as a Deputy Librarian in the Library of a technical university.

Medical Officer (Psychiatry):

• The candidate must have a MD/ MS from a University, recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in the appropriate branch of a medicine.
• OR PG Diploma from a University, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), in the appropriate branch of medicine with at least two years of experience in a recognized Hospital.

Medical Officer (Gynecology):

• The candidate should have an MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a University recognized by MCI.
• OR Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology (DGO) from a University recognized by MCI with at least 02 years post-qualification experience in the recognized hospital.

Assistant Registrar:

• The candidate must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B on the UGC 7 pt scale along with a good academic record.
• The candidate must have 5 years experience as a Deputy Librarian in the Library of a technical university.

Counsellor:

• The candidate must have an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology with at least 55% marks and 2 years of experience.
• OR MA in Art in Clinical Psychology with at least 55% marks and 3 years of experience.

Technical Officer Level-III:

• The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science with 5 years of relevant experience.
• The candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in software project management and digitization.

Age Limit

• To apply for IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2025, the candidate’s age should be below 55 years for the Librarian and Technical Officer Level-III posts and below 35 years for the Medical Officer (Psychiatry), Medical Officer (Gynecology), Assistant Registrar & Counsellor posts.
• The age limit preferably below 50 years will be admissible for the person currently working in IIT Roorkee.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
