IIT Tirupati Summer Internship 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Tirupati has announced Summer Internship Program for students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees. The internship will be for a period of 4 weeks with stipend and free accommodation, the application portal for the internship is live now.

- Selected candidates for IIT Tirupati Summer Internship 2025 will be provided with free accommodation.
- The top 5 students per department will be paid a stipend of ₹5,000/- per month.

Eligibility
Computer Science and Engineering
- BE/ B.Tech in CSE/ EE/ Equivalent
- CGPA of 7.5
Electrical Engineering
- BE/ B Tech
- Until 6th Semester should have 85% or 8 CGPA without any backlog until 6th Semester
Chemical Engineering
- BE/BTech Chemical Engineering & near allied Branches like Chemical
- Technology/ Petroleum Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering and relevant
- CGPA > 7.5 or Marks > 75%
Mechanical Engineering
- BE/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics / Roboticstallurgy/ Bio Technology
- CGPA> 7.5 or Marks > 65%
Civil and Environmental Engineering
- BE/B Tech in Civil Engineering
- Current CGPA > 7.5 or marks above 70%
Mathematics & Statistics
- UG (B.Sc/ BA in Mathematics or Statistics) – Completed at least 3 semesters
- Integrated MSc – Completed at least 2 years
- MSc (Mathematics/ Statistics)
- UG Engineering (B.Tech/ BE) – Completed at least 2 years
- Other Science disciplines (B.Sc Physics, Chemistry, BCA, etc.) – Completed at least 2 year
Chemistry
- UG (B.Sc Chemistry) – Completed at least 3 semesters
- Integrated MSc (Chemistry/Chemical Sciences) – Completed at least 2 years
- MSc Chemistry – Completed at least 2 semesters
Physics
- UG (B.Sc Physics) – Completed at least 3 semesters
- Integrated MSc (Physics) – Completed at least 2 years
- MSc Physics – Completed at least 2 semesters
Humanities & Social Sciences
- Completion of first year of PG in Humanities and Social Sciences Disciplines.
- Preference will be given to those who have completed the post graduation degree.
Selection Procedure

| Civil and Environmental Engineering | Department will review the received applications and choose the top 10 candidates |
| Mathematics & Statistics | Minumum CGPA: Atleast 7.5 Minimum of 4 courses in either mathematics or statistics in their UG |
| Chemistry | No restrictions Department will Scrutinize the received |
| Physics | No Restrictions Minumum CGPA: Atleast 7.5 or equivalent |
| Humanities & Social Sciences | 75% or 7.5 CGPA on completion of first year of PG |
