The Indian Maritime University (IMU) releases application forms for candidates interested in appearing for Common Entrance Test 2022 (IMU CET 2022). IMU functions under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The entrance examination is held all across the country, named IMU-CET, for selecting eligible candidates for admission into various courses offered by IMU campuses and Affiliated Institutes.
There are six IMU campuses in the country. They are: Chennai Campus, Kochi Campus, Kolkata Campus, Mumbai Campus, Navi Mumbai Campus, and Vishakapatnam Campus. There are 24 affiliated campuses that are present, which provide different courses under IMU.

How to apply for IMU CET 2022
- First of all visit the official website of IMU CET 2022
- From the homepage search for the new registration link
- Enter all the essential details with care, especially the contact details for easy communication purposes
- Completion of this registration step will allot the candidate an application number via a registered phone number
- Then with the provided application number and password log in to go for the next step
- Fill the application form with respective personal information carefully
- Choose your preferred IMU CET 2022 examination centre
- Use the save button to store the details and proceed further
- Upload signature and clear coloured photograph with a plain background and following the norms
- Complete the application process by paying the examination fee
- Take a printout copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference

Candidates concerning the important key dates for the upcoming IMU CET 2022 examination are here listed below.
- Commencement of online application forms – 28th March 2022
- Closing of online application forms – 16th May 2022
- Release of admit cards – 19th May 2022
- Mock test availability from – 19th May 2022
- IMU CET exam date – 29th May 2022
- IMU CET 2022 results – 3rd June 2022
IMU CET 2022: Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS), February 2023
For Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) admissions for February 2023, IMU shall not conduct a separate IMU Common Entrance Examination. Candidates willing for admission into DNS February 2023 batch must go through the IMU CET 2022 registration process. They have to sit in the IMU examination in order to get admission into DNS.
IMU CET 2022 examination will be conducted in a total of 84 cities in India. And in CBT or Computer Based Test mode arranged in a single batch system on 29th May of 2022.
