The Indian Navy has released a new recruitment notification for civilian personnel under the Indian Navy Group C Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 327 vacancies for the Boat Crew Staff, including the posts of Syrang of Lascars, Lascar-I, Fireman, and Topass. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications on or before April 1st, 2025.

Pay Scale

The pay scale for the Indian Navy Group C Recruitment 2025 is given below-

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Syrang of Lascars

The candidate should have passed class 10 from a recognized Institute or Board.
The candidate must have a Syrang Certificate granted under the Inland Vessels Act of 1917, or the Merchant Shipping Act, of 1958.
The candidate must have two years of experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horsepower.

2. Lascar-I

The candidate should have passed class 10 from a recognized Institute or Board.
The candidate must have Knowledge of swimming.
The candidate must have one year of experience on a registered vessel.

3. Fireman

The candidate should have passed class 10 from a recognized Institute or Board.
The candidate must have Knowledge of swimming.
The candidate must have a certificate of having completed a pre-sea training course.

4. Topass

The candidate should have passed class 10 from a recognized Institute or Board.
The candidate must have Knowledge of swimming.

Age limit

For the Indian Navy Group C Recruitment 2025, the minimum age limit for candidates is 18, and the maximum age limit is 25.
Age relaxation is admissible as per the rules.
