IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Assam Oil Division (AOD), Digboi is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for admission to the B.Sc (Nursing) Course for the session 2026-27 at Assam Oil College of Nursing (AOCN). The AOCN is affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, and the course is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. This is a full-time regular course spanning 4 years.

Seat Capacity
- There are a total of 30 seats available for the B.Sc (Nursing) course.
- These seats are distributed as follows: Unreserved – 14, EWS – 03, SC – 02, ST – 03, and OBCNCL – 08.
- Additionally, one position is reserved for candidates with locomotor disability (40% to 50% of the lower extremity) under the PH (OH) category.
- Six seats of IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026 are reserved for candidates belonging to the Digboi Legislative Constituency (DLC).
- If positions reserved for PwBD or DLC remain unfilled, they will be filled by other candidates against Unreserved seats based on merit to reach the capacity of 30 seats.
Eligibility Criteria
Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years old as on 31st December 2026.
- The upper age limit to apply for IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026 is 35 years.
- Age relaxation is available up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates considered against reserved positions, and up to 5 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) irrespective of seat reservation.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board/ Council/ University with English as one of the subjects.
- They must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined with English for General Category candidates.
- For PwBD candidates, the minimum aggregate is 45%, and for SC/ST category candidates, it is 40% in PCB together with English, calculated without grace marks.
- Candidates holding professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, or similar equivalent qualifications are not eligible.
Selection Procedure
- The selection process of IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026 requires eligible female candidates to register for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE-2026) conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati.
- Candidates must then apply online through the AOCN online portal using their CEE-2026 Roll Number and total marks obtained in the CEE.
- A final merit list will be prepared based on the CEE written examination score and weightage marks from the Income certificate. In the event of a tie in total marks (CEE result + Income certificate weightage), the older candidate by date of birth will be ranked higher.
- Only 30 eligible candidates meeting the specified parameters will be called for document verification, followed by a medical examination. Final admission is conditional on being declared medically fit.
- The Management’s decision regarding eligibility, selection, and cancellation regarding IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026 is final and binding. Canvassing will render a candidate ineligible.

Stipend & Training Details
Selected candidates under IOCL BSc Nursing Admission 2026 will receive a consolidated stipend per month:
- 1st year: Rs. 2,800/-
- 2nd year: Rs. 3,000/-
- 3rd year: Rs. 3,200/-
- 4th year: Rs. 3,400/-
Additional benefits include free hostel accommodation, medical attention for the candidate at AOD Hospital, and a uniform. Selected candidates are compulsorily required to stay in the Nursing College hostel.
After Completion of the Course
- After completing the course, candidates will be compulsorily engaged for a period of one year as working interns at AOD Hospital or any other IOCL hospital.
- This period may be extended by a maximum of two years at the sole discretion of IOCL (AOD).
- Working interns will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 16,250/- per month at AOD Hospital.
- If placed at other IOCL hospitals, they will receive an additional Rs. 1,000/- per month.
- Accommodation facilities are not provided during the working internship period.
