KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: Apply Now for 14,967 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts across India

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have jointly released the KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 (Advertisement No. 01/2025) for various teaching and non-teaching positions across India. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct this recruitment on behalf of both organizations.

This nationwide recruitment drive aims to fill more than 14,000 vacancies in both KVS and NVS combined, covering posts such as Principal, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT, PRT, Librarian, and several non-teaching positions. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India, and requests for transfer will not be entertained initially.

Both KVS and NVS operate under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, focusing on quality school education across urban and rural India.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as per post)

• Assistant Commissioner: Up to 50 years
• Principal: 35 to 50 years
• Vice Principal: 35 to 45 years
• PGT: Up to 40 years
• TGT: Up to 35 years
• PRT: Up to 30 years
• Non-Teaching: 27–45 years (varies by post)

Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per Government norms.

Educational Qualification

• PGTs: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed./ Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
• TGTs: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed. and CTET Paper-II qualification.
• PRTs: Senior Secondary (10+2) with D.El.Ed./ B.El.Ed. and CTET Paper-I qualification.
• Librarian: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science.
• Non-Teaching Posts: Graduation/ PG with relevant qualifications as per post.

Selection Process

The recruitment process of KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 will include:

• Written Examination (CBT)
• Skill/ Interview/ Document Verification (as applicable)

CBSE will conduct the exams in multiple shifts across India.
