MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025: Forms open for various posts; Apply now

The Medical and Health Recruitment Board (MHRB) Assam has released a recruitment notification via Adv. No: MHRB/ 66/ faculty/ 2025/ 4527 for the recruitment of 620 medical and healthcare positions across the state under the MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025. After reviewing all the details related to the recruitment drive in this article, eligible candidates can submit their applications on or before April 25th, 2025.

Vacancies

• A total of 620 vacancies are announced for the position of Registrar, Demonstrator, Resident Physician, etc., in Government Medical College Hospitals under the Medical Education & Research Department.
• These vacancies are open in Anatomy, Anaesthesiology, Bio-Chemistry, Cardiology, CTVS, Dermatology, Dentistry, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, FSM, Microbiology, Medicine, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, O&G, Physiology, Psychiatry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Plastic Surgery, Paediatrics, PM & R, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, SPM (Community Medicine), TB & Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), and Urology department.

Pay Scale

Candidates selected under the MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 will receive a pay of Rs. 57,700/- to Rs.. 1,82,400/- PM (Academic level 10) plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• The age of the candidates selected under the MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 should not be less than 21 Years and more than 45 Years as of 01/01/2023, irrespective of the category of applicants.
• There are age relaxations for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) of 10 years irrespective of SC/ ST/ OBC/ General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.144/ 95/ 121 dated 28/10/2015.

Educational Qualification

Broad Speciality

• Candidates must have a postgraduate qualification like MS (Anatomy)/ MSc (Medical Anatomy) with a PhD in Medical Anatomy for the Anatomy Department.
• Candidates must have a postgraduate qualification such as MD (Biochemistry)/ MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry for the Biochemistry department.
• Candidates must have a postgraduate qualification of MD (Physiology)/ MSc (Medical Physiology) with a PhD in Medical Physiology for Physiology Department.
• For other departments, candidates must have a Post-Graduate qualification like MD/ MS/ DNB/ MDS in the concerned subject from an institute under any Indian University recognized by the National Medical Commission (previously MCI)/ National Board of Education (NBE)/ Dental Council of India.

Super Specialty

• Candidates must have a Post Graduate qualification MD/ DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neuro Surgery, Medical Oncology).
• Candidates must have a Post Graduate qualification MS/ DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neuro-Surgery, Urology, Pediatric Surgery).
• Candidates having DM/ M.Ch./ DNB in the concerned super-specialty subject will be given preference/ weightage.

Selection Procedure

• The selection procedure for MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 will be notified later on by issuing a Notice.
• The Board will decide the procedure for selection in respect of the posts based on the number of applications received.

• Visit the application portal using the official website linked below
• Click on the ‘Register’ link, register using a mobile number or email ID, and create a strong password
• Next, click on the “AD: MHRB/ 66/ Faculty/ 2025/ 4527” log in to the application portal, and fill in all the details as asked on the website
• Next, upload the necessary documents and images
• After that, the candidates need to pay the application fee using any one of the available options
• Lastly, they need to submit the application form for the MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
