NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is an apex organisation wholly owned by the Government of India. Under Advertisement No. 04, the posts are in the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Department of Supervision (DoS) – CSITE.

NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details

NABARD has notified 8 posts and 16 vacancies across CISO and DoS-CSITE. All posts are located at the Head Office, Mumbai. The table below gives the post-wise vacancies against each reservation category.

Salary and Contract Details

The NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 carry a consolidated, all-inclusive annual remuneration, as shown below. Tax will be deducted at source as per the Income Tax Act and Rules in force.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility of the candidate under NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 will be determined as on 1st October 2026. Candidates must meet the age, qualification, certification and experience requirements for the post they apply for.

Age Limit

Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications under NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 is given below:

SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Network Security Analyst and Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester:

• BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication/ Information Science/ Electrical/ Cyber Security; OR
• MCA; OR a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Cyber Security/ Information Security/ Computer Engineering/ Information Systems/ Software Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering
• A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.

Lead Auditor, Cyber & Network Security Specialist and IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist:

• B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Information Technology (IT); OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/ ECE

Cyber Security Analyst:

• B.E./ B.Tech in CSE, ECE or IT; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Master’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/ ECE

Mandatory Certifications

• SOC Analyst: Any one of CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or an equivalent cyber security certification
• Information Security Analyst: Any one of CISA, CISM, CISSP or an equivalent certification in Information Security/ IT Risk/ Compliance
• Network Security Analyst: CCNP Security or an equivalent certification in network/ infrastructure security
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: Any one of CEH, OSCP, ECSA or an equivalent certification in penetration testing/ offensive security
• Lead Auditor: CISA, plus at least one of CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Lead Implementer and CISA
• Cyber & Network Security Specialist: CISA, plus at least one of CCNA, CCNP, CEH or CISM
• IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: CISA, plus at least one of CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or a PCI DSS implementation certification (PCIP/ ISA/ QSA/ CPISI)
• Cyber Security Analyst: At least one of CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, a Database Certification (Oracle/ Microsoft SQL) or a Cloud Certification (AWS/ GCP/ Microsoft Azure/ Oracle)

Experience

Apart from qualifications, NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 included various experience requirements:

• SOC Analyst: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in IT/ Cyber Security roles, including handling security solutions and security risk identification
• Information Security Analyst: Minimum 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in Information Security/ IT Risk/ Cyber Security roles
• Network Security Analyst: 5 years of IT experience and a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in network security
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: Minimum 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in VAPT/ Ethical Hacking, including hands-on application, API and infrastructure security testing
• Lead Auditor: Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years conducting technology/ IS audits in the BFSI sector, with experience leading audit teams
• Cyber & Network Security Specialist: Minimum 6 years handling network devices, cyber security consulting, ISMS management and SOC/ VAPT, including at least 3 years in technology/ IS audit
• IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: Minimum 6 years handling CBS and payment channels, IT infrastructure and virtualization, including at least 3 years in technology/ IS audit
• Cyber Security Analyst: Minimum 3 years in IT or cyber security

Only Indian citizens can apply.

Selection Process

• The selection of the candidates under NABARD Specialists Recruitment 2026 will be by way of interview only.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in the ratio of 1:3 on the basis of qualification, experience and other criteria.
• Shortlisted candidates serving in Government/ Quasi-Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings, Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
• Selected candidates will also have to undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination.

• Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) and a live photograph captured through a webcam or mobile phone
• Signature in black ink
• Left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink
• Handwritten declaration in English, on white paper with black ink, not in capital letters
• Latest CV/ Resume and proof of current Cost to Company in PDF format (maximum 500 KB)

• Upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and CV with proof of current Cost to Company.
• Preview the form and click “Complete Registration” only after checking all details.
• Pay the application fee and intimation charges online and take a printout of the e-receipt and the application form.
