Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
The minimum educational qualifications, experience, and publications required for the teaching posts under the Nagaland University Faculty Recruitment 2026 will be as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2018, NCTE Regulations 2014, AICTE Regulations, and ICAR Guidelines, as amended from time to time. Candidates must have published research work in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. The qualifications, experience, and age as on the last date of submission of the application will be considered.
Experience
The period during which candidates acquire M.Phil and/or PhD degrees shall not be considered as teaching or research experience for appointment. Candidates applying under the Nagaland University Faculty Recruitment 2026 who are already in service with the State/Central Government or other organisations must upload a No Objection Certificate and a Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
Reservation and Relaxations
Reservations are applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories as per government norms. Relaxations of 5% in marks at graduate and master’s level are allowed for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates. Candidates must submit valid certificates for reservation claims.
Selection Process
