Protests over delayed examinations!

However, there has been a demand from a section of the candidates to postpone the examination as they are not eligible to appear in the examination because the final examination is delayed for the batch of 2016, due to the circumstances under the covid-19 pandemic. A letter has already been sent to the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya by the All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA), seeking postponement of the examination, which reads, “We are NEET PG and NEET MDS aspirants and would like to bring to your notice the issues faced by the aspirants as well as the interns who cannot appear for the upcoming medical post-graduation entrance exams”.

Different twitter handles expressed their grief over the issue. One of them wrote, “We 2016 regular batch #NEETMDS2022 aspirants are still not eligible. Is it our mistake that our academic year started late? Is it our mistake to do COVID duty when the country needed us? Why should we waste 1 precious year just to give the exam? Please do justice by postponing the exam”.
