The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has issued the official notification for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment aims to engage 2623 apprentices across 25 work centres in India for various trades and disciplines. Eligible candidates can apply online from 16th October 2025 to 6th November 2025. Selection will be purely based on merit from qualifying examination marks.
Similar to this, Numaligarh Refinery have also invited applications for apprenticeship programmes across technical and non-technical trades.
Vacancies of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025
ONGC will recruit apprentices under both NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) across its Northern, Western, Eastern, Southern, Central, and Mumbai sectors.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility conditions as of 6th November 2025.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 6th November 2025 (i.e., born between 6th November 2001 and 6th November 2007).
Age relaxation:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ ST and 13 years for OBC NCL)

No TA/ DA or accommodation will be provided during the apprenticeship period of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025.
Selection Process
Selection for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will be based on merit drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher age will be given preference.
Duration of Training
The duration of apprenticeship for all trades is 12 months.
