Registrations for the same has began on 19th of February, and the last date to apply is 11th March, 2025. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must hold an MBBS degree from a reputed institution.
The candidates appearing for their final MBBS exam are also eligible to apply for the UPSC CMS 2025 Exam.
Age Limit
The age of the candidate should be 32 years as of 01/08/2025, i.e. the candidate must be born not earlier than 02/08/1993.
Age Relaxation:
OBC: 3 years
SC/ ST: 5 years
ECOs/ SSCOs (5 years): 5 years
Defence Service personal who are disabled: 3 years
Candidates who are domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir since 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989: 5 years
Physically Disabled: 10 years
Ex-Servicemen including ECOs, commissioned Officers and SSCOs: 5 years
Other Criteria
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The citizens of Nepal and Bhutan are eligible to apply.
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, etc., can also apply for the exam.
The candidates must be physically and medically fit to meet the UPSC CMS 2025 exam.
Selection Procedure
Stage 1: Written Test
The written examination will consist of two papers.
Each paper will carry a maximum of 250 marks.
The duration of each paper will be 2 hours.
The written exam in both the papers will be completely of objective (Multiple choice answers) type.
The question Papers (Test Booklets) will be set in English only.

Stage 2: Personality Test
The next step of the UPSC CMS 2025 is the personality test of 100 marks, which will be conducted for candidates who qualify in the written exam.

How to apply for UPSC CMS 2025?
At first, candidates need to register themself on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform of UPSC (If done earlier or if the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to fill up the online application for the exam)
After successful registration, candidates need to log in to the application portal
Go to Dashboard and click on “Apply to Active Notification”
Click on the link corresponding to UPSC CMS 2025
Fill out the required details as asked in the portal
Upload the photograph, signature, and other required documents in the specified format
Then pay the application fees and select the preferred city for the exam centre
Lastly, review and submit the application form and don’t forget to download a copy of the application form for future reference
