The Office of the Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati, has invited online applications from Indian citizens for contractual posts under the scheme. The Samagra Shiksha Assam Recruitment 2026 covers the posts of Additional Resource Person (ARP), Assistant Additional Resource Person (AARP) and Special Educator.
Online applications will be received from 13th October 2026 to 28th October 2026. Selected candidates will be engaged initially for 11 months. The engagement will not be regularised or absorbed under any programme of the Government of Assam, and candidates will have no right to claim permanent absorption in any post.

Pay Scale
All three posts advertised under Samagra Shiksha Assam Recruitment 2026 carry a fixed monthly remuneration, as shown below.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- All posts: minimum 18 years and maximum 62 years as on 1st January 2026
- Age will be calculated from the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council. No other document will be accepted in its place.
Nationality
Applicants must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Educational Qualification
- Additional Resource Person (ARP): Graduate from a recognised university, along with a minimum 1-year Diploma in Special Education in any category of disability with a valid RCI CRR number.
- Assistant Additional Resource Person (AARP): Graduate from a recognised university, along with a 1-year Diploma in Special Education in any category of disability with a valid RCI CRR number.
- Special Educator: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university, with a Special B.Ed. or a 1-year RCI-recognised Diploma in Special Education in any category of disability, and a valid RCI CRR number.
Experience
- Additional Resource Person (ARP): Minimum 3 years of working experience in any Govt. Organization/ NGO working in the field of disability/ SSA/ DPEP.
- Assistant Additional Resource Person (AARP): Working experience in any Govt. Organization/ NGO working in the field of disability/ SSA/ DPEP is preferred.
- Special Educator: Minimum 5 years of working experience in any Govt. Organization/ NGO working in the field of disability/ SSA/ DPEP.
Preference
For the posts of ARP and AARP, priority will be given to female candidates with disability, siblings of a disabled person, or persons having a child with disability, provided they hold the requisite qualification.
Selection Process
- Only eligible candidates will be called for the test/ interview of Samagra Shiksha Assam Recruitment 2026.
- The marking pattern covers General Awareness, Personality & Aptitude, Subject matter in the relevant field and Relevant Experience for the post.
- Candidates must score at least 50% of the total marks to be shortlisted.
- The exact date and time of the test/ interview will be communicated separately to shortlisted candidates.
- The decision of the Selection Committee on the acceptance or rejection of applications, the conduct of the test and the final selection will be binding on all concerned.
- The Mission also reserves the right to change the time and conditions of the process or withdraw the notification at any stage.
