The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an advertisement inviting online applications for the post of Circle Based Officer (CBO) under the SBI CBO Recruitment 2025, with a total of 2964 vacancies. The application portal for these vacancies have opened on 9th of May 2025, and the deadline for the form fill-up is 29th May 2025.

Vacancies

A total of 2,964 vacancies have been announced for Circle Based Officer (CBO) positions under SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 across various circles, including Ahmedabad, Amaravati, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, North Eastern, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Maharashtra, Mumbai Metro, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram. Pay Scale

Candidates selected for Circle Based Officer (CBO) positions under SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 will receive a starting basic pay of ₹48,480, under the pay scale ₹48,480–2000/7–62,480–2340/2–67,160–2680/7–85,920 (Junior Management Grade Scale-I), with two advance increments for those having over two years of officer-level experience in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• The candidate’s age should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as of 30.04.2025, i.e., the candidate must have been born between 01.05.1995 and 30.04.2004 (both dates inclusive).
• Age relaxation-
  • SC: 5 years
  • ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD/ UR-EWS: 10 years
  • PwBD/ SC-ST: 15 years
  • PwBD/ OBC: 13 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised by the central government, including an integrated dual degree (IDD).
• Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
• A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (listed in the Second Schedule of the RBI) is required as on 30.04.2025.

Language Proficiency

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular Circle should be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in any one of the specified opted local language of that Circle (mentioned against each Circle).
