Educational Qualifications for all Posts
- To be eligible for SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023 a candidate must be B.E/B. Tech in (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology / Electronics/ Electronics & Communications Engineering/ Software Engineering or equivalent degree in above specified discipline) or MCA or M. Tech/ M.Sc. in (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronic & Communications Engineering or equivalent degree in above specified discipline) from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt of India/ approved by Govt Regulatory Bodies.

Selection Process of SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023
(A) For Post Serial Numbers 1 to 18 & 21 to 36
Online written Test: The online written test of SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023 will be conducted tentatively in December 2023 / January 2024. The call letter for the test will be uploaded on the Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e-mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters.
Pattern of Online Written Examination
General Aptitude: The general aptitude section will be of qualifying in nature and marks thereon will not be reckoned for arriving at the Merit list. 90 minutes will be allotted in this section.

Interview: An adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interviews based on performance in the online written test. The interview will carry 25 marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview will be decided by the Bank.
Merit List: The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks (out of 100 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks). The weightage of the score will be 70% of the written test and 30% of the Interview.
(B) For Post Serial Number 19, 20, & 37 to 45
The selection for Posts (Sr. No. 19,20 & 37 to 45) will be on the basis of shortlisting and Interviews. In such a case merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right to a candidate to be called for an interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard
Merit List: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in merit.
