Initiatives Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026
The campaign includes several initiatives focusing on youth, education and public welfare.
₹278 crore assistance to 82,219 young entrepreneurs
- As part of the campaign, ₹278 crore in financial assistance was digitally disbursed to 82,219 young entrepreneurs across Assam under the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan (CMAAA).
- The assistance covered 9,578 beneficiaries under CMAAA 1.0, who received their second instalment, while 72,641 newly selected beneficiaries under CMAAA 2.0 received the second component of their first instalment. The initiative is aimed at supporting young people in establishing and expanding their enterprises.
Scholarship support for ST students
- Another education-related initiative associated with the campaign was the distribution of ₹194.55 crore in scholarships to 1,66,124 Scheduled Tribe students in Assam.
- The scholarship initiative was highlighted by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and is aimed at supporting students in pursuing their education.
Painting, Quiz and Debate Competitions
- The campaign also includes painting, quiz and debate competitions for students in government and private schools. According to the campaign information, these activities are being organised from September 17 to October 7 at school, LAC and district levels.
- The themes mentioned include “25 Years of Seva and Samarpan” and “Viksit Bharat @ 2047”.
- A 1,000-question quiz bank is also being prepared as part of the activities.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 Speech Competition
The statewide speech competition is a key student initiative under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026. It will be organised across schools, colleges, polytechnics and universities of Assam.
