SSC CHSL Result 2020 of Tier-2 declared; Check the results here

SSC CHSL Result 2020 has been declared for Tier 2 examinations. More than 25,000 candidates have been selected for the DEST examinations.

SSC CHSL Result 2020: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the results of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination or CHSL of the year 2020 of Tier-2. The candidates who appeared in the Tier-2 Descriptive Paper can now check their examination results. Candidates who appeared for the SSC CHSL examination of 2020 can check their respective scores by logging in to the official website via their registered ID and password.

Earlier, the final results of the SSC CHSL 2019 were declared earlier this week. More than 4500 vacancies were filled up by this process.

SSC CHSL Result 2020: Steps to check results

For the candidates who appeared for the examination to check their SSC CHSL Result 2020, here are some guidelines.

  1. At first, the candidates must visit the official website of SSC, that is, http://ssc.nic.in
  2. After that, on the homepage lookout for the ‘Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSLE), 2020 (Tier-II) link and click on it
  3. Doing this will show the result for shortlisting the candidates to appear in DEST/ Typing Test
  4. Then a new window will open up
  5. There the SSC CHSL Result 2020 will appear in a PDF document format
  6. Proceed to download the same and save it for future reference

SSC CHSL Exam 2020

The SSC announced the results of Tier-1 of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination of the year 2020, on the 27th of October 2021. Later, the results were revised and further declared on the 3rd of January 2022.

After the SSC CHSL Result 2020 of Tier-1 examination results were declared, the number of candidates who qualified for the second round, that is, Tier-2 was 45,480. In the Tier-2 round, candidates have to sit for the Descriptive Paper examination. And the examination for the Descriptive Paper was held on the 9th of January, 2022.

No. of eligible candidates

From both the examinations, namely, Tier-1 and Tier-2, a total of 28,133 or Twenty-Eight Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Three candidates are considered to be qualified for the Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/ Typing Test for the post of LDC/JSA & PA/SA. This qualification is marked as provisional. On the other side, the total number of candidates who is qualified for DEST for the post of DEO is 374.

A notice was issued by the Commission which states that “In consonance to the Para No. 17.3 of the Notice of the Examination, only those candidates have been considered eligible for short-listing, who had scored more than 33% marks in Tier-II of the examination.”

Important Dates

The marks of the qualified and non-qualified candidates shall be uploaded on the official website of SSC on the 20th of May, 2022. And the provision to check the marks under SSC CHSL result 2020 will be made available for a time period, starting from the 20th of May, 2022 to the 10th of June, 2022.
