RBI Recruitment 2025: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Services Board has announced recruitment for various Grade A and Grade B posts. The recruitment drive includes posts such as Legal Officer, Manager (Technical-Civil), Manager (Technical-Electrical), Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha), and Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security). The application process is online, and the exams will be conducted in August 2025.

Pay Scale
- Grade ‘A’ Officers: Starting basic pay of ₹62,500 per month in the pay scale of ₹62,500 – 126,100 over 17 years. Gross monthly emoluments approximate ₹1,22,692 excluding House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- Grade ‘B’ Officers: Starting basic pay of ₹78,450 per month in the pay scale of ₹78,450 – 141,600 over 16 years. Gross monthly emoluments approximate ₹1,49,006 excluding HRA.
- Candidates selected under the RBI Recruitment 2025 will also receive other benefits, including Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Allowances, House Rent Allowance, medical facilities, advances at concessional interest rates, and residential accommodation, subject to availability.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit for RBI Recruitment 2025
- Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’: 21 to 32 years (relaxations applicable for LL.M, Ph.D., and reserved categories)
- Manager (Technical-Civil) and Manager (Technical-Electrical) in Grade ‘B’: 21 to 35 years
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade ‘A’: 21 to 30 years (up to 32 years for Ph.D. holders)
- Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security) in Grade ‘A’: 25 to 40 years; no age relaxation applicable
Educational Criteria
- Legal Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and enrollment with the Bar Council as an Advocate.
- Manager (Technical-Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST if reserved).
- Manager (Technical-Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST if reserved).
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha): Master’s Degree with specific combinations in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics, or Commerce, along with translation diploma where applicable.
- Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security): Requires experience as an officer in the armed forces with relevant service records.
Experience
- Legal Officer: Minimum two years of experience, post-enrollment in Bar Council as an Advocate or Law Officer or full-time Law teacher.
- Manager (Technical): Minimum three years post-graduation experience in relevant fields with independent responsibilities.
- Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security): Minimum 10 years commissioned service in Army/ Navy/ Air Force (5 years for PwBD candidates).
Selection Process
The selection process of RBI Recruitment 2025 involves online and offline examinations followed by interviews. The number of candidates called for the interview will be based on examination performance. Final selection is on the combined performance of exam papers and interview.
Exam Pattern
- Legal Officer: Paper-I (Objective and Descriptive, General Knowledge of Law), Paper-II (English Descriptive), and Interview.
- Manager (Technical-Civil & Electrical): Paper-I (Objective, professional knowledge), Paper-II (Descriptive, B.E. standard), and Interview.
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha): Paper-I (Objective with Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Professional Knowledge), Paper-II (Descriptive translation), and Interview.
- Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security): Online examination with tests in Reasoning, English, General Awareness on Banking, Professional Knowledge, and Interview.
