SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025: The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has opened the application portal for admission into B.Sc. Nursing courses in both Government and private institutes of Assam for the session 2025-26. SSUHS released the first notification on 11th April, and yesterday, 23rd April, they opened the registration portal.

Candidates interested in pursuing a career in Nursing can come forward to apply for the entrance examination of SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025, which will be held on 22nd June 2025. The application process will remain open till the 22nd of May, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must be citizens of India to be eligible for the SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025.
• Candidates need to have a valid Permanent Resident certificate (PRC).
• Applicants must be female for admission in institutions under the Government of Assam.
• The minimum age the candidate must have is 17 years as of 31st December 2025.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed HSSLC, 10+2 with science or its equivalent course from a recognised Board, Council, or University.
• They must have English as one of the subjects studied.
• Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) for the General (unreserved) category, 45% for PwD candidates & 40% marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H) category without grace marks.

Selection Procedure

The candidates for admission into SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025 will be selected purely based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance test. The structure of the question paper will be as given below-

• The paper will consist of 100 objective-type or Multiple Choice Questions questions.
• The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• The questions will be of Higher Secondary or 10+2 (Science) standards.

• For admission into B.Sc Nursing, the merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained by each candidate in all the subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the preference will be given to candidates who secure more marks in the following subjects sequentially:
  1. Biology
  2. Chemistry
  3. Physics
  4. English
• And if it further tallies, then marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry, Physics of the qualifying examination shall be considered at the time of counselling.

Exam Centres

The exam centres for the entrance examination of the SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025 will be held in the centres of Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Dhubri, Shillong, Aizawl, Itanagar, Agartala, Imphal, Dimapur & Gangtok. Finalisation of exam centres in the capitals of other North-eastern states will depend upon the number of applicants applying for respective state capitals for appearing in the examination.

• Visit the official website of the SSUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025 by clicking on the link given below
• On the homepage, click on the link that reads, Entrance Exams
• Then candidates will be redirected to a new page, and click on the Application Form link
• Next, click on the ‘Application Form’ button and thoroughly read the instructions given and then proceed to the application form by clicking on ‘Next’
• Now, fill up all your details as asked in the admission portal, which includes your personal information, address info, and academic details, and then upload your passport photo and signature
• Once the form is submitted, a username will be generated, which will be used to log in to the admission portal (Please keep it safe, as the username and password will be required to download the admit cards and results in the future)
• Next, visit the starting page once again, and now click on the ‘Login Form’ button
• Enter your username & password to log in and fill out the remaining details
• Then proceed to the payment section and pay the applicable fees
• Lastly, submit the form and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
